Aperture workflow

Presentations work both online (live) and offline (exported graphics).

  1. Import

Open an existing Aperture file (.MSDV) or import a MAPP 3D project. Aperture renders it with noticeably clearer, richer graphics than the source tool, with real-time navigation of the view.

  2. Predict

Toggle the prediction display on or off. Adjust settings such as prediction frequency and focus the prediction on selected elements or the entire system. To optimize graphical output, designers can adjust camera position and zoom.

  3. Capture

Capture frames from different viewpoints and settings — think of each keyframe as a saved “shot” of the design. Keyframes can be organized after capture by drag and drop.

  4. Playback

Playback mode animates the transitions between captured keyframes for a smooth, guided walkthrough. It works with PowerPoint-style presentation clickers, so you advance through a design like advancing slides. Animation and pause times can be adjusted in the properties sidebar (top-right cogwheel)

  5. Export

Export keyframes as high-quality, consistently sized images in a zip file. Exports can automatically embed branding and the generator settings used, so proposal graphics stay consistent.
